The map opposite p.25 includes from Bolton to Carnforth, branching through Yealands and Milthorp, or through Burton and Crooklands, to join at Kendal, a branch off to Haweswater (which should perhaps be Windermere), the main road continuing through Shap to Penrith, and on to Carlisle.
