Map, hand coloured engraving, Map of the County of Westmorland, scale about 1 inch to 1 mile, by C and J Greenwood, published by George Pringle jnr, 70 Queen Street, Cheapside, London, 1824 edn 1844.
The map is sectioned for folding and mounted.
Electoral data is added, including a panel of data.
Railways are added - Lancaster and Carlisle Railway, open 1846; Kendal and Windermere Railway, open 1846; Low Gill and Ingleton branch railway, open 1859; Eden Valley Railway, open 1862; and South Durham and Lancashire Union Railway, open 1861. The junction of the last two near Kirkby Stephen is not as it was built. There is no 'railway' in the table of symbols.
