Chart, uncoloured engraving, no.1346, Firth of Solway, scale roughly 1 inch to 1 mile, surveyed by J H Kerr et al, Royal Navy, published by the Hydrographic Office, Admiralty, London, 1877 with corrections to 1973, printed 1975.
Lighthouse beams etc are overprinted in colour. There are inset maps of Workington and Whitehaven harbours.
There is a list of large corrections, new editions; 1881,1890, 1929, 1938. There is a longer list of small corrections, from 1939 to 1973.
