Painting, pen and ink and watercolour, A Prospect of the Ruins of the Castle of Pile of Fouldry and the Adjacent Islands taken from Ramside, ie Piel Castle etc, Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire, by Stephen Penn, 1730s.
The places are - Ramside is Rampside; Walney Island; Rhode Island is Roa Island; Lancaster Castle; Pile of Fouldry is Piel Castle; Foulney Island; St Michaels Island is Michael Island a shingle bank; Leverpool Harbour presumably Liverpool Harbour which is hidden, and there is no 8 on the picture; Peel Harbour is Piel Harbour.
