Painted stucco walls with string course, eaves cornice and V-jointed quoins, on chamfered plinth. Graduated greenslate roof with banded stucco chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 4 bays with right-angled single-storey, 2 bay extension. Centre top-glazed panelled door in bolection architrave. Cross-mullioned windows in stone architraves. Extension has door and sash window in painted stone surrounds within overall glass porch. Interior has ground floor late C17 panelling, wall cupboards, panelled doors and beamed ceilings. Late C17 staircase with twist balusters. See RCHM Westmorland, p214, pl,56." |
