Long narrow stone with hollows to take 2 pairs of legs, with corresponding iron leg clamps, hinged at either end, with central locking pin set in lead. Stepped C20 plinth of Penrith red sandstone. Similar to the stocks at Kirkoswald, these being more complete." |
