"Public house. Late C17 core altered early C19. Roughcast stone, graduated slate roof. 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows to 1st floor; wing to rear right. Steps and railings to boarded door in square-headed recess to right of centre; projecting sills to broad casements with glazing bars on each side of door. Small 4-pane sash on left beyond which is a square-headed carriage entrance with C20 doors. 1st floor: projecting sills to 2 casements with glazing bars; 4-pane sash on left. Limestone end stack on right and truncated ridge stack to left of centre."
"INTERIOR: early C18 stone fireplace to front right has corbels and cornice; C17 wall cupboard on right dated 'ETA/ 70'; beam over fireplace cut out at back suggesting former smokehood."
