Painted incised stucco walls partly on large rubble plinth stones. Graduated greenslate roof with painted roughcast chimney stacks. Appears to have been 3 houses in a row; the left oldest one (dated 1735 but probably earlier). 2 storeys, 4 bays; the central one 2 storeys, 2 bays under common roof; the right higher one 2 storeys, 2 bays with rear extension. First part has blocked central doorway, now a sash window in painted stone surround, matching all of the other windows. Central part has C20 roughcast porch with reused lintel over glazed C20 doors. Sash windows with glazing bars in painted stone surrounds. Right part has similar central porch and doors with flanking side: lights. Broad sash windows in painted stone surrounds." |
