"[FOND EST ILLIMIS, NITIDIS ARGENTEUS ONDIS,]"
There was a clear pool, with silvery shining waters.  "[QUEM NEQUE PASTORES, NESQUE PASTAE MONTE CAPELLAW,]"
where shephards had never made their way, no goats that  "[INFICIUNT ALIUDE PECUS; QUEM NULLA VOLUCRIS]"
pasture on the mountains, no cattle had ever come there,  "[NEC FERA PERTURBAT, NEC LAPSUS AB ARBORE RAMUS.]"
Its peace was undisturbed by bird or beast or falling branches.
