notes:-
Nothing is known of an early church here. The present church was built 1756 on the site of an earlier church. Only the window shapes suggest its period. The roof is carried on king post trusses, which carry carpenter's marks at their joints.
The pews and choir stalls are re-used, from an earlier building, or another church - their elegant numbering defies logical arrangement!
