Sir Tarquin was a Saxon warrior who eat small boys. |

The Wharton or de Querton Family lived here. |
||
Thomas Warcop lived here in 1422, and his family lived here till the 16th century,
after which thecastle decayed. The castle was then known as Lambert's Seat. |
