A notice in the Westmorland Advertiser and Kendal Chronicle, 12 July 1823, p.1141 offers "A MAP OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ULVERSTON, intended to be Published by Subscription by H. MERRYWEATHER, Land Surveyor. / THE MAP to be laid down on a scale of Six Chains in one Inch, the quantites of each Field shown, and the Fences and Boundaries of the different Estates particularized. / No expence will be spared in the execution of the Engravinf. / Subscription of Two Guineas each, will be received by H. MERRYWEATHER, Millwood, near Ulverston, or at the office of the principal Booksellers in Lancaster, Kendal, and Ulverston. Non sibscribers, L2 12s. 6d. / Millwood, June 28, 1823." |
