The map has six coats of arms, of which I can identify five
with some level of certainty.

City of Carlisle
|
Vert, the base barry wavy of six Argent and Azure, and
issuing therefrom a castle between two roses Or, on a chief
Gules a lion passant guardant Or
These were used on John Speed's map of Cumberland, 1611,
where the base is bary wavy of four. Barry wavy of six was
used as the city's arms from 1835 to 1924 when the current
arms were granted, which are 'Or on a cross patee between
four roses Gules a rose Or barbed and seeded proper'.

Gules on a bend between six cross crosslets fitchee
Argent on an escutcheon thereon a demi-lion rampant pierced
through the mouth with an arrow within a double tressure
flory counterflory, a mullet for a difference.
The escutcheon was allowed after Lord Howard's success at
the Battle of Flodden Field; the arrow represents the arrow
that pierced James IV's body.
