Painting, watercolour, Haymaking at Upperby, Carlisle,
Cumberland, by Thomas Bushby, 1911.
A hayfield on a fine day; to right of foreground wait two
girls and a dog. To left of composition two labourers
transfer hay from a cart to a haystack. Hens peck at the
ground beside it. In middle distance, to right, stands the
farm and its outbuildings. Beyond lies hilly countryside,
partially wooded.
