Painting, watercolour, Haymaking at Upperby, Carlisle,
Cumberland, by Thomas Bushby, 1898.
A field on a fine day; in foreground two children and a dog
sit amongst mown hay. To left of composition two labourers
load hay onto a cart; to right, it is raked into small
stacks. In middle distance the rooftops of a nearby village
are glimpsed with rolling countryside and distant hills
beyond.
