Painting, watercolour, Carlisle Town Hall as it Appeared

A view of the town hall and market cross viewed from the
market square; the streets are decked in bunting and several
flags hang outside the town hall. Several figures sit on the
steps at the base of the market cross; others wander past,
alone or in pairs. Three unattended dogs are depicted in the
foreground.
