Print, soft ground etching, Bridge at Bowderdale, Nether Wasdale, Cumberland, by William Green, published by William Green, Ambleside, Westmorland, and Longman, Hurst, Rees and Orme, Paternoster Row, London, 1809.
A flimsy wooden bridge spans a rocky stream; the left hand bank is fringed with trees whilst the right is formed by a rocky escarpment. In centre of composition a distant mountain rises.
