the South East, Brampton, Cumberland, by Robert Carlyle snr,

Included in an album The Antiquities of the City of
Carlisle. View of Naworth Castle from the south on the site
of the curent walled garden. Two men and two women with a
dog are conversing and walking in open meadow in front fo
the cstle beside two cattle. Beyond the castle Walton Wood
can be seen and a cottage on the far right.
