Full size drawing of St George, facing slightly to the left,
a broken spear held in his right hand and a shield in his
left. Behind his head is a blank scroll. One of 15 figures
designed for the East window at St Martin's Church,
Brampton. This figure was designed for the bottom tier of
the window. St George was one of Burne Jones's most popular
designs. It was reproduced over forty times as a stained
glass window by Morris and Company in other churches.
