Painting, watercolour, SW Prospect of the Country from Peelnears, ie Coniston Water, Lancashire, by Stephen Penn, 1732.
The viewpoint is perhaps Peel Island, opposite High Peel Near on the eastern shore; the lake is Coniston Water; the direction of the view is North of West, not South of West.
A dozen features in the view are labelled with a number linking to tabulated references at the top of the painting.
