Map, uncoloured engraving, Britannia Saxonica, Saxon England with Wales, scale about 28 miles to 1 inch, engraved by John Sturt, London, 1695.
Included in Britannia by William Camden, 1586, translated from Latin by Edmund Gibson.
Two areas in the NW are labelled 'CUMBRALAND' and 'WESTMORINGALAND' and the settlements of 'Karleol' is marked and labelled.
The scale line is in error, the '20 miles' should be roughly '60 miles'.
