Print, coat of arms at Melkinthorpe Hall, Melkinthorpe, Westmorland, published for the Cumberland and Westmorland Antiquarian and Archaeological Society, by Titus Wilson, Kendal, Westmorland, and by Charles Thurnam and Sons, Carlisle, Cumberland, 1892.
Shield on the wall of the dining hall; blazon given by Taylor - quarterly 1. and 4. Musgrave, six annulets 3,2,1 2. Ward, a cross flory 3. Stapleton, three swords pommels in the nombril of the escutcheon points extended.
Tipped in opposite p.98 of The Old Manorial Halls of Cumberland and Westmorland, by Michael Waistell Taylor.
