EAST SIDE OF DERWENTWATER LOOKING TOWARDS LOWDORE WATERFALL
THE prominent features of this Lake, as described in the
view of 'Derwentwater from Brough Top,' are here seen to
considerable advantage. The view of Derwentwater on the east
side, looking up towards Lowdore Waterfall, is one of the
most beautiful in the whole Lake. The most favourable time
to ride on this side is about ten o'clock.
