Road book, Laurie's New Traveller's Companion, published by Robert H Laurie, 53 Fleet Street, London, 1834.
The road book has - title page engraved in a variety of faces, advertisement for the book itself, directions for finding a road to a place, a table of symbols for the maps, index of placenames, an advertisement for other maps from R H Laurie, notes about the Parliamentary representation as amended by the Reform Act 1832, a general map of England and Wales, and a series of 25 maps of the country planned radially from London.
