English Lakes, published by Adam and Charles Black, North
Bridge, Edinburgh, 3rd edn 1846.
The upper scene shows Ullswater and the ranges of mountains
from Place fell to Herring Pike and Gowbarrow Park; the
lower scene shows Ullswater and the ranges of mountains from
Hartsop Dod to Herring Pike and Glen Coin Fell.
