The book is bound in board covered with printed paper. It has:- frontispiece map, half title page, title page, preface, contents list; pp.7-150 descriptive text including itineraries, notes on geology, meteorology, floating island in Derwent Water, and the black lead mine at Seathwaite, and a new appendix, an account of an excursion to Skiddaw. Note that the prefatory matter is pp.i to vi, and text pages start at 7 rather than 1. |
