(The page numbering of the compilation is not clear from looking at one volume in the middle.)
Page 9 (or 55) includes the recommendation:-
...
24. That the Sees of Carlisle and Sodor and Man be united, and that the Diocese consist of the present Diocese of Carlisle, and those Parts of Cumberland and Westmoreland which are now in the Diocese of Chester, of the Deanery of Furnes and Cartmel in the County of Lancaster, of the Parish of Aldeston, now in the Diocese of Durham, and the Isle of Man.
MAP FEATURES
Maps of the dioceses are appended, page 13 (or 59):-
... APPENDIX. MAPS of the several DIOCESES in ENGLAND and WALES, as they now are, and as they are proposed to be.
The maps are divided according to the Counties; and also according to Archdeaconries and Deaneries; the Boundaries of the latter being regulated by the Maps published in the Valor Ecclesiasticus, and their names taken from Bacon's Liber Regis.
The Alterations, proposed by the Commissioners, are designated by Two Colours. The Counties and Districts, proposed to be transferred to other Dioceses, being coloured Red,- this showing, at a Glance, the present, and the proposed Territorial Conditions of each Diocese.
The maps are on folded sheets tipped in on a guard. All have a plate number top right. There is a title, eg:-
CARLISLE, and MAN
And ?all have the engraver's name bottom right:-

The boundaries of county, archdeaconries, and deaneries are marked, and referred to a table at the side:-
Diocese (old) - Archdeaconry of Carlisle - Carlisle deanery, Alderbie or Allerdale or Alnedale [deanery], Westmorland [deanery]
added from Chester - Archdeaconry of Richmond - Coupland [deanery], Furnes & Cartmel [deanery], Kendal [deanery] (part of), Kirkby Lonsdale [deanery] (part of)
Archdeaconry of Isle of Man - was Diocese of Sodor and Man
The map of Chester Diocese makes clear that the other parts of the old Kendal deanery go to Manchester Diocese, and of Kirkby Lonsdale to either Manchester of Ripon Diocese.
The bishops residence is marked by a circle and labelled:-
