notes:- |
This is thought to date back to the 14th or 15th century. A lintel in the new church
records the rebuilding of this one in 1673. There was a general restoration in 1842,
when the floor was flagged. Having no bellcote it is said the bell was hung in a nearby
tree. The old chapel was pulled down in 1865. |
