The inn is now the Red Lion, and has been for a long while, but the innsign here looks like Bunches of Grapes.

"Public house. Possibly C17 but refaced C19. Stucco with slate roof. 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays, with one-storey extension to left return. Windows are sashed with glazing bars and margin lights, label moulds. Gabled dormers, that to 3rd bay has top-hung casement. Entrance has label mould and studded, panelled door. 2 corbels to eaves, one in form of a man with pig, the other a man with bagpipes. Ornamental iron bracket supports lantern and inn sign. Gable-end stacks. Left return has ornamental bargeboards and 2 sashed windows with glazing bars and horns. Extension has sashed window with glazing bars and horns; gable end stack. Rear wing has C20 windows; 2 gables to left, 1st bay has sashed windows with glazing bars, ground floor to 2nd bay has small-paned fixed glazing with opening lights."

"House. Probably C18. Roughcast with slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Dripcourse to 2nd bay. Ground floor has small-paned casement to 2nd bay. 1st floor has small-paned fixed glazing to stair window to 1st bay and small-paned casement to 2nd bay. Central part-glazed 6-panel door. Cross-axial stack with rounded shafts to right, adjoining wing of solicitor's office (q.v.)."
