	The laser in the cutting machine is quite large, and lives inside the 'box'. The beam arrives at the back left, shines onto a mirror on the travelling gantry that reflects it to a mirror on the cutter head, which reflects it down to cut the material. The mirrors need to be kept in fine adjustment.
