notes:-  
First a bobbin mill, 1820s onwards. It was later used for wood turning etc. Mangle rollers were manufactured by a cylindrical saw, from sycamore or maple wood, and door handles from american 'partidge' wood. The power, latterly, is from Gilkes turbine.
