Keppel Cove Tarn, used as a reservoir, failed in a storm the night of 28/29 October
1927. A concrete dam was built at right angles, slightly lower; perhaps in 1928? which
failed at its base a few years later, perhaps 1931? |

| The dam held water used by Greenside Lead Mines down the valley. |
