"Memorial to First World War, adapted after 2nd World War. c.1920. Ashlar. 4 hexagonal stone steps to platform. Hexagonal base on 2 steps with raised lettering in sunk bands. Plinth has names to 3 panels and 3 projecting panels with relief figures and badges, soldier, sailor and airman, and supports hexagonal which has cap with shields; top figure of St Michael and the Devil. Memorial surrounded by 4 cast iron lamp posts."
