Polychrome stone: rock-faced squared and coursed red sandstone with yellow sandstone detailing which includes quoins, chamfered plinth, banding, and cornice. Store and house have hipped graduated slate roofs. Main shed has corrugated sheet roof. Shed has a wide gable with coping and a wide central glazed opening with a segmental arch which has rusticated voussoirs and a moulded impost band. To each side are doorways with round arches which have rusticated voussoirs. Set back to the right is the former house, of 2 storeys and 3 bays under a hipped slate roof. The ground-floor windows and the central doorway have bracketed lintels. The windows are late C20 casements imitating glazing bar sashes." |
