Squared blocks of red sandstone on chamfered plinth with flush ashlar quoins. Welsh slate roof; rebuilt ridge brick chimney stacks. Single storey, 2 bays with rear extensions; double-depth plan. Central C20 door and flanking C20 casement windows, all in original chamfered stone surrounds, the windows having their stone mullions removed." "INTERIOR not inspected. Shown on the 1842 Map of Carlisle. The only railway cottage of this age to survive in the city." |
