Lower wing to left is 2 storeys, the lower storey being below road level; 5 windows on each floor, formerly 24-paned sashes but now partly broken, in stone architraves. End gable his entrance up 4 stone steps, and a round- arched upper window. Rear facade to former mill-race has 8 windows. Mill wheel at junction of wings. Interior appears to have heavy women beams and iron upright props."
