source data:- | courtesy of English Heritage "Church Hall, formerly used as part of Grammar School. Reset 1677 datestone in east wall, but present building C18 with later alterations. Coursed squared rubble with moulded quoins. Steeply pitched, graduated slate, roof with stone end chimneys and moulded stone cornice. 2 storeys. 5 bay symmetrical west elevation has central vertically split 8-panelled door with traceried rectangular fanlight. Doorcase is plain with (possibly reset) cornice and segmental pediment over. 2 sashes with glazing bars to either side and 5 windows to 1st floor, all but central one being sashes with glazing bars." |
