Corbelled parapet with flat coping and finials, cupola with lantern. Each face has 4-centred relieving arch of ashlar and brick with round-headed niche containing urn, that to north-west missing, base inscribed: "POSUIT WB". Urns to other sides record Christopher Wilson and Sarah, John and Jane Gale, relations of William Braddyll; that to north-east also records erection of monument. A prominent landmark on the Furness peninsula." |
