hearsay:- |
The stone couldn't be found, carefully looking on foot, 17 April 2010 (in response
to a query from a user of the Lakes Guides website). The people at the nearest house
said that there was an accident there about a year ago, a youngster going too fast
must have hit the stone, and it disappeared. A couple of weeks ago the farmer noticed
the broken stone lying in the grass some little farther north roughly at the roadsign
for the bend. |
