"Public road bridge over River Rawthey. Probably C17; altered in 1911. Mixed random rubble. One wide segmental arch with rubble voussoirs, a stone slate archband and an upper layer of voussoirs over the centre of this; re-built parapets with rounded coping, each with a square refuge corbelled out in the centre (added in 1911) and the ends splayed outwards. (The south half of this item is in Middleton CP.)"

"Bridge over river Rawthey near confluence with river Lune. Probably late C17 or cL8, datestone in parapet reads 1670, with alterations of 1911. Stone rubble with some re-inforced concrete. Slightly stepped segmental arch. Plain parapet probably rebuilt. Central bracketed refuges partly of concrete. Roadway is 3m wide."
