| Fog bow or mist bow |
         ||
| The fog bow is a less common version of a rainbow, seen with the sun behind you, the
                  light refracted and internally reflected in drops of water. In the fog bow the droplets
                  are tiny, less than 0.05mm diameter, and the simple refraction/reflection effects
                  are modified by diffraction. Minnaert explains the science. |
