	Gentleman's Magazine 1747 p.599 It is hoped, therefore, that such gentlemen as have made any geographical remarks, or have any partial surveys, will be pleased to contribute their assistance and observations to this work, directing to E. CAVE. at St John's Gate, who will gratefully acknowledge the favour. N.B. The intimation of the survey of a large lake, in the hands of a person of distinction, is received, and may be of use; but we have seen before, that part of the history of it which was sent.
