Ambleside: Woolly Rug Co, Lakes, Cumbria, NY37710458 -- The rugs are made by firing tufts of wool, using an air gun, onto a tight wove 'canvas', the tuft going round a warp thread. When the design is completed a backing is glued to hold everything firm.
