away with, the flow of water no longer fails.
The track crosses Applethwaite common into Troutbeck,
descending upon the chapel and the bridge in the very depth
of that primitive valley, which was one of the first we
described (p.34.) We believe that in the whole circuit there
is no scene or object of importance omitted in our detail.
