Nov 6 This book opens with an account of the pleasantest day I ever witnessed at this season of the year - I went in a boat round the water with Mr Hutton the morning was sunny, and so serene that the lake was at times so perfect a [mirour] as to reflect in the highest perfection all the surrounding objects - I must not forget to describe the [arch] in the guide which [MrH] pointed out which is made by the reflection of the rocks at Lowdore. --- afternoon drawing went with Jane to Lowdore
