Statue, William Wordsworth

A pleasing statue of Wordsworth, by Thrupp, has been erected in the Baptistry of Westminster Abbey. The poet is represented in a loose classical robe, sitting on a mossy bank, and has a very characteristic aspect. The monument is next to that of Secretary Craggs, the friend of Pope and Addison.
