MR. BOUTELL is really indefatigable in his illustrations,
both by the pen and pencil, of our interesting monumental
antiquities. In our Magazine for Dec. 1848 we had the
pleasure of noticing two works by him on parts of this
subject: the one his "Monumental Brasses and Slabs,"
published in 1847, and the other his beautiful series of
"Monumental Brasses," selected with much judgement, and
represented with remarkable fidelity and delicacy of
