page 645:- CUMBERLAND. The Dean and Chapter are proceeding with the restoration of Carlisle Cathedral. A Handsome parapet has been erected along the front of the gallery over the triforium on the north side of the choir. The design is an open quatrefoil, and adds much to the beauty of one of the most richly decorated choirs in England.
