The view down Kirkstone Pass from her is splendid, though it's a pity Brothers Water
is a dull object. Each car that arrives here produces a person with a camera to take
a snapshot. The cameras vary from expensive digital SLR to mobile phones - point down
the valley and shoot. Occasionally the photographer doesn't even get out of the car. |

| Sitting having lunch (without a camera) we observed one family arrive. All got out
and dad took a view down the valley; then a view with his wife and children and the
valley; then a child took one of mum and dad and the valley, of the sibling and the
valley, and vice versa; then there was some fiddling about, the camera was placed
on a rock, dad quickly hopped into view to get the whole family and the valley. |
