"Church. 1868 by C.J. Ferguson, not an ancient site. Hammer-dressed red sandstone on chamfered plinth, with string course and buttresses; graduated green slate roof with decorative ridge tiles; small broach spire has hung shaped green slates. C13 style 3-bay nave, single-bay apsidal chancel and north vestry. South entrance has plank door with engaged column surround and pointed head. Nave and chancel have lancet windows with chamfered surrounds, trefoil heads and pointed hood moulds; triple lancet west window with plate tracery. Interior has braced timber roof, early C20 pews and fittings. 5 east window lancets have non-figurative stained glass. Wooden pulpit on stone plinth. Carved wooden communion rail."
